A new logo for a Yamhill
Basin Council in Oregon's Yamhill county
accurately reflects the organization's landscape and concerns —
the topography of the area and the challenges of protecting the
watershed in an agricultural setting. The Yamhill river's many
tributaries go unnoticed by passers by,
so stream-crossing signage, like the one below, identifies the
watersheds throughout the region. The logo ties
the many watersheds together.
